10 days/9 nights – Held annually in Vietnam, Rally Indochina is the largest annual charity motorbike ride in South East Asia. Open to any adventurer with a desire to put something back into Vietnam, 500 USD of the Rally entry fee is directly donated by you to the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. Blue Dragon is a grass roots Australian charity reaching out to kids in crisis in Vietnam. The next Rally Indochina will start on May 8, 2017.
Ride a vintage Ural motorcycle with or without a sidecar, sit pillion from Hanoi to Dien Bien Phu and back and experience some of the best riding and scenery that Asia has to offer. More than just a motorbike tour, Rally Indochina is a great ride for a great cause!
Rally Indochina 2017 kicks off in Hanoi on May 08, 2017. The Rally will head deep into the northern mountains, crisscrossing the massive Hoang Lien Son mountain range to arrive in the wide valley of Dien Bien Phu. This historic valley is where the Vietnamese earned their independence from the French in 1954. After visiting a Blue Dragon project in a remote village, we travel to Sapa to experience the region’s famous mountains and ethnic minorities.
The route has been chosen by bikers and for bikers, so the Rally is not simply about getting from A to B in the quickest time. The organisers have spent years finding the best motorcycling roads in Vietnam, with just the right mix of scenery, historic sites, highland and lowland villages, mountains and valleys.
